App Engine to announce new runtime at I/O. The linked page is the description of a code lab, and it says that they will be adding "another very popular programming language to the list of supported runtimes".

@Muninn @oldcai 可能是为了方便移植现有 PHP 应用到 GAE，GAE/PHP 配合 Cloud SQL 可以让许多现有 CMS 应用在 GAE 上运行

Cloud SQL 在 6月3日要推出一个 D0 的套餐，$0.36/天，不知道和这个有没关系：https://developers.google.com/cloud-sql/docs/billing

支持php不可能。支持nodejs可能性倒是比较大。。。。。v8是自家的，google的基础设施可以代替 libuv。然后。

@est 我也期待支持 nodejs，不过据说 1.7.8 python sdk 中已经发现 PHP runtime 的踪迹了

另外，GAE 的 instance 方式是否适合 nodejs 事件驱动模型？
