Macbook Pro 对外接显示器强制开启 HiDPI 会不会导致 CPU 资源浪费？

最近买了个 Thinkvixion M14，1080p 分辨率的便携显示器。使用的时候发现如果是 1080p 模式字体太小，1600x900 则太模糊。因此在少数派上找到一篇文章使用 RDM强制开启外接显示器 HiDPI 模式。

配置好之后发现画面是好很多了，但是风扇噪音很大。在系统信息里看到以下内容：

ThinkVision M14:
  Resolution:	3200 x 1800 (QHD+ - Wide Quad Extended Graphics Array Plus)
  UI Looks like:	1600 x 900 @ 60 Hz

难道说是虚拟了一个更高分辨率的屏幕，然后通过合并像素来完成 HiDPI 的么？这种工作方式会不会浪费 CPU 资源呢？谢谢

是的，就是你想的那样。

会特别吃显卡。如果你配置不够高，就不要这样用。
